She has lived in Saskatoon, Toronto, and Northern Saskatchewan, and now lives in Edmonton&#8217;s historic Alberta Avenue with friends including three dogs, three lizards and sugar gliders.<\/p>\n<p>Gayleen is the author of the\u00a0<em>Touch<\/em>\u00a0series of paranormal mysteries, set in Western Canada, and\u00a0<em>The Dominion<\/em>, an alternate reality satire and romance set in the most magical place on Earth.<\/p>\n<p>Gayleen appeared on Canadian Learning Television&#8217;s\u00a0<em>A Total Write Off<\/em> and was the winner of the second series of BookTelevision&#8217;s <i>3-Day Novel Contest.\u00a0<\/i>She was also shortlisted twice in the overall International Three-Day Novel Contests.<\/p>\n<p>Gayleen&#8217;s non-fiction and humour writing has appeared in publications including Avenue Magazine, See Magazine, and The Rat Creek Press.<\/p>\n<p>Gayleen has released three albums of original music and played showcases across Canada, including Toronto&#8217;s NXNE.
