Gayleen Froese

gayleenGayleen Froese is a novelist and musician from Western Canada. She has lived in Saskatoon, Toronto, and Northern Saskatchewan, and now lives in Edmonton’s historic Alberta Avenue with friends including three dogs, three lizards and sugar gliders.

Gayleen is the author of the Touch series of paranormal mysteries, set in Western Canada, and The Dominion, an alternate reality satire and romance set in the most magical place on Earth.

Gayleen appeared on Canadian Learning Television’s A Total Write Off and was the winner of the second series of BookTelevision’s 3-Day Novel Contest. She was also shortlisted twice in the overall International Three-Day Novel Contests.

Gayleen’s non-fiction and humour writing has appeared in publications including Avenue Magazine, See Magazine, and The Rat Creek Press.

Gayleen has released three albums of original music and played showcases across Canada, including Toronto’s NXNE. Her first CD, Obituary, won an Undiscovered Artist Award from CBC Radio.
